It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Marion Innes, our Women’s Outreach Support Worker has died.
Marion was a creative, perceptive and compassionate support worker, colleague and friend. She had courageously dealt with significant health problems for some time but never let them stop her giving 100% to her job and living her life to the full. Marion worked with us for nearly twelve years and touched countless women and children’s lives as she supported them through the trauma of domestic abuse. She had incredible insight and empathy. Marion was such a positive member of our team and always went the extra mile, putting the women and children we work with front and centre of everything she did. This was the perfect job for her and we were very lucky to have her.
Marion’s family meant everything to her. Our thoughts go out to Tom, Marions partner and her children and grandchildren as they try to come to terms with such a devastating loss.
We will miss her more than words can say.
